Description

Jon goes back to his roots (and drags Pat along) as they're joined by Jon's childhood pals Adam Hastings and Chad Scott to discuss Underoath's album "Define the Great Line," a classic in Christian music and the hardcore/metalcore genres. The gang discusses why the album's style and lyrical themes appealed to them when the album came out 15 years ago—and how Underoath managed to achieve so much mainstream success outside a Christian audience. Plus, Pat learns about the many ways Evangelical kids find workarounds to discover cool music, and he hears about a scandal involving an illicit trip to see X-Men 3 in theaters.
